We had an absolutely incredible time when the FLIP Museum brought their mobile field trip right to our school! The students were so engaged, and it was a joy to watch them learn, play, and create together.
One of the most popular stations was the mobile food truck play kitchen. This space provided a fantastic opportunity for students to see themselves represented while also learning about delicious foods from other cultures. It turned into a wonderful, dramatic play activity where teachers and parent volunteers acted as hungry customers, and the preschoolers took charge of making the food and completing the transactions!

The undercover play area was packed with hands-on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) activities. Students worked together to connect PVC pipes, building elaborate ramps to test how balls would roll down their tracks.
When they weren’t building ramps, they were busy being architects! A huge favorite of the day was the collection of large magnetic tiles, which the children transformed into giant forts. They also utilized big foam shapes to build their own structures, with many students working together to build a life-sized train. Speaking of trains, FLIP also brought a huge train setup that completely captivated our little engineers.
It was a beautiful day of imagination, teamwork, and problem-solving. Thank you to everyone who helped bring this memorable experience to our classroom!
