From Neah Kah Nie High School- Ms Whitfield’s Spanish Cooking Class and Mr Douma’s Foods and Nutrition class teamed up for the annual culinary class field trip!
Thanks to the Mudd Nick Foundation we were able to take our 2 classes to Pacific University which offers many avenues of study and exploration for students interested in a variety of programs..
We then went to the Hillsboro Downtown Station- an eclectic collection of food pods situated on the west side of Hillsboro. Our students were able to try foods from over 15 different countries. Students were able to eat traditional dishes from Korea, Japan, Cuba, Nepal, and beyond-
